I had a blast dress shopping today. I headed over to Prima Donna’s Closet in Metairie today. They had a fantabulous selection of evening gowns, gently used designer clothes, shoes, handbags & jewelry. Stephanie, the store manager was amazing- she knew what would be appropriate for a Mardi Gras Ball & what went with my personality (crazy). I felt like I was shopping with one of my close girlfriends. We parted with a hug and my gorgeous gown (also left some clothes to be consigned). Big Hint – open one in Mandeville & I’ll run it. I LOVE the people here – so warm, open & friendly!

What a beautiful gown! Which ball are you going to? Is it a tradition society type or a wild dinner dance kind? Each has its plusses. Did your husband have to rent tails? I read somewhere once that New Orleans had the biggest market for dress tails only after New York City. I am glad to see you are diving into the local color. Soon we will have you sucking those crayfish heads! lol! Have a great time!
