Having somehow avoided seeing High School Musical 1 and 2, is a feat that I considered a good Mommy accomplishment. My daughter saw them with friends and I breathed a sigh of relief (parents take turn seeing painful movies- unwritten rule) that I was off the hook for them. I knew my luck had run out today when hubby promised to take her and he was in bed with a fever. So, I bit the bullet and smiled at her this morning and said, “I’d love to take you to the movie. Just me and you.” In my head, I was pretty sure it would be equivalent to stepping into hell and was thinking, “Please just stick bamboo chutes under my nails!” I certainly don’t have anything against musicals – had the Grease album (vinyl – remember that?) and knew every word to every song. I also loved Footloose and Saturday Night Fever – but that was a long time ago.
I am happy to report to you that High School Musical 3 was an enjoyable movie. It had a decent story and the music, dancing and costumes were spectacular – very Disney. Zack Efron reminds me of a young Rob Lowe and is adorable. My daughter loved it and clapped after each song! Now I’m not running to the store to rent or buy 1 and 2 so I can sit and watch them in all my free time. But, I certainly won’t tell Princess Whinalot “no” if she asks me to watch them with her.

Good to know. Both of my daughters are HSM fans, I haven’t been asked to go with the older one to see it yet, but I’m waiting to be asked to drive her to theater so she can see it with her friends. 😉
It was quite a dreaming music and drama I have ever experienced. As expected High School Musical 3 is out standing with the performance by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. If there is another series love to watch it too. Songs are well composed I have seen it online because of reliability of site http://www.80millionmoviesfree.com had lot of fun with the movie
