12736. Hearing tonight- Castine Center – 6:30

Anyone who is tired of being ripped off by possible mismanagement and corruption at Pelican Park needs to attend the hearing concerning millage rates tonight at 6:30pm. There is no reason why the millages should increase. Remember, the board members ARE NOT ELECTED (like Parish Council and School Board members) These good ole boys are appointed by the Parish Council and Kevin Davis. These are people like Nixon Adams on this Board.Hold this board accountable. Considering what little offerings the Park has in recreation and the fact that the millage is higher than the public library PLUS you have to pay exorbitant fees, there is no rationale for higher taxes.
