I think I’m ready…shoot…I have to be! Tomorrow my day starts with my radio show in the French Quarter. It takes me about 45 minutes to get there and park. Of course you will be listening from 9-10 central time on WIST AM 690 or on the computer!!! After the show, a direct 90 minute sprint to Baton Rouge for the Blue Star Mother’s Luncheon, where they will be honoring the families of fallen Louisiana heroes. Our own Governor, Bobby Jindal will be speaking. Then an immediate sprint back to the French Quarter to pick up Mother’s po-boys for the Marines coming in from Iraq. I have the Abita root beer already loaded in the car. Another sprint to the airport to load the food on the bus and greet the Marines – then home. Phew. Sunday we are torn between Jazzfest, the N’awlins Air Show or hanging out on the our boat named the “Kiss My Gumbo” (no official sticker yet).
