519268598_cb4c5bae75.jpg The way I choose to look at life is that if you stay the straight path, stay honest and true to yourself and others…good things will come back to you..right? This past week I had a little personal turmoil (all together now…awwwww…poor Greta). I was forced to make the best decision, with the information I had, immediately. It didn’t feel great at the time and there was a pit in my stomach – but it was done – no looking back. I was honest and straightforward and demonstrated integrity and loyalty – and that was going to have to be enough. And I’m not even a public servant fercryingoutloud!

But what do we expect from our politicians?

As can be seen from the outrage and passion of the people in Louisiana over multiple political issues this past week, we demand the very basics of the virtues we teach our children. Sometimes when public figures “honestly” say stupid things it is because their virtues are out of whack. They maybe thinking what they said seemed honest but to the rest of us it is open mouth and insert foot.

So I guess the answer is …no..you can’t be too honest. You have to consistently be honest or it will catch up to you and bite you in the ass someday!

We are watching you politicians. We demand honesty and transparency! We want you to do your job and serve us well! The Princess of Positive has spoken!

  1. I am going to try to REMEMBER TO LISTEN to you today. I should be at my computer working . . . so . . . going to put a reminder in my outlook right this minute. It is only 2 hours from now!
