I was deeply disturbed to read this article about tattoos in go. Even more disturbing is the fact that a 13 year was able to get one – WTF??? I waited until I was 24 and nobody can see it unless I have a bathing suit on (yes- cottage cheese koala).

I just had a the pleasure of hanging with a very intelligent adult on my Vegas trip, who had tattoo sleeves done when she was younger. Now she is going through the horrible and most expensive process of getting them removed. In fact, she was burned by the laser her last treatment. Why is she getting them removed? Because she can’t even get a job at Starbucks with her tattoos.

I know kids don’t think and some parents don’t care. But what tattoo shops are giving them to kids this young???

OK back to my happy place with fluffy bunnies and rainbows.

  1. I think it was Jimmy Buffet who said, “a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling.”
