Spending this past weekend in DC at the Soldiers’ Angels gala, going to dinner with some wounded heroes and getting to spend some time at Walter Reed, made me once again re-examine my priorities. Supporting our men and women in uniform is our obligation as Americans, is my passion and I need to focus on it even more than ever.

As many of you know, I have also been driven over the past few months, to try and recall my Mayor, Eddie Price. Lots of time has been spent on this effort that was taken away from helping soldiers. I still strongly believe that he should be recalled and am very proud of the work that has been accomplished thus far. This campaign is not easy, but the collection of 3,000 signatures is very attainable. No regrets at all from me about driving the recall, spending time collecting signatures or doing behind the scenes work. Yes, I still am 100% behind the recall and can’t believe that anyone at this point thinks he should still be in office. I support the Concerned Citizens of Mandeville 100% but at this time, feel it best that I spend my time “Angeling.”
