Ouch – this article that states Vermont is the healthiest state and Louisiana, well, let’s just say we did the WORST is pretty upsetting!!! Maybe this study will gives LA a good kick in the arse that we need to try harder when it comes to health care. I don’t know about you, but I feel like being outdoors doing physical activity here more than when I lived up North in Maine (right next to Vermont for those of you born South of the Mason Dixon Line). Trust me, Vermont doesn’t have the food, culture and amazing people that Louisiana has. Remember, my family could have picked anywhere to live 2 years ago and we chose here – without any ties or having ever spent any time here. We made the right decision! Maybe Louisiana should make it mandatory that everyone runs a mile before they enter festivals! For those of you in Mississippi – next year you will get your spot back!!!
