I am proud to be a mentor for Mandeville High School’s FIRST Robotics Team 2992, the SS Prometheus. Young kids are our future and I’m all about supporting the fields of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM). Though I am horrible at science, engineering and math, there is room for me as FIRST mentor in the technology, marketing and social media department to help. My second son takes after my husband and is strong in the engineering and math, and got involved with robotics as a freshman last year. I’m hooked and encourage everyone to find a local team, to give their time and or/money to. I’m hooked and I know you will be too!!!

Our season just kicked off today and now the kids have 6 weeks to build the robots! Below is the game for the 2014 season, called Aerial Assist.
